yesturday was nuts. i tried to go to the zoo with mom and cindy, and not only was it absurdly crowded, but it took forever just to get out of there. once we saw how crowded it was, we decided to just go home. it wasnt worth it. i wanted to go up there to take some reference pictures of tigers. we drove around the zoo, and could see parts of the nig cat country from the road; i never would have gotten any good pictures. it was waaaayyy too crowded. thats the second time we've gone up there, and its been so crowded that we just went home. the last time was with dom. i finally got a job! well, two actually. but the main was is at home depot. i am so happy that i finally got a job. im pretty sure i start tomorrow or sometime this week. the other job is babysitting my favorite dog, Nomad, for my friend Jen. She's about to have her baby, and Rick and Mimi are at work during the day. so i get to go over to their house and watch him for them. apparently he has seperation anxiety, and he tears up the house when no one is there. silly dog. so i plan on wearing him out when i watch him. i think im going to walk him a few times a day, and get plenty of exercise for the both of us. i have a feeling im going to get a lot of reading and maybe some drawing done when i watch him. i mean, its not like a baby. he can do whatever he wants, i just have to keep him busy for a while. i bought some new books. i bought the first three books in the house of night series. im almost done with the first one. i would have finished it by now, but i havent been reading every night. i really wish that i had more pictures of tigers that i've taken myself. i really want to start drawing them. i've never drawn tigers, or any of the big cats before, so i know they're probably going to look pretty silly. but, practice makes better. there's no such thing as perfect, by the way. besides work and dogsitting, i dont know what else i'm going to do this week. i had registered for college, but thats not going to happen. at least not for a while. and it doesnt really bother me at all. i want to start saving for my own house. its pointless getting an apartment, cause i am not going to live on my own. dad's supposed to get me a dog when i move out so that i wont be by myself. i think im just scared of an intruder or something. im going to get a boxer. i love those dogs. in my opinion, they're the best. i sure have been rambling on for a long time. i guess i'll stop. see ya

2-8-11

Today was pretty boring. i woke up at like, 8:30, ate, watched some tv, and then took a nap. i had a crazy dream. Aiden, from the new show Being Human on SyFy, was pretty much the main guy. it was weird. but no need to get into that.
i filled out some applications for a job. about 5 hours worth. i hate the assessment parts. they take so long.
hmm...i looked up some random stuff on ebay, just to see how much it was. i reactivated my facebook, seeing as some people use it to see what im up to...dont know why they cant just text or call me.
last night was weird, and awesome, because my friend Dom called. he hasnt called my house in about a year. we talked just like we used to; for hours, about absolutely nothing important. he makes me smile and laugh like no one else. he's like, the best guy friend a girl could ask for.
besides that, yesturday was pretty uneventful as well.
i really wish i had a job. im not looking as hard as i should, seeing as i not only need money, but i would like it as well. camera stuff is on the list of wants. and camera stuff is EXPENSIVE.

2-1-11 waiting for the storm

So, we're supposed to get like, 12 inches of snow today. And yet, it's not here. They say it might be here around 6 pm, but since they're always wrong, im not counting on anything.

I worked on a new story today. Didnt get very far seeing as i was distracted and got bored.

Took a nap, but didnt really get to sleep since mom was making noise and talking on the phone. Played on the internet a little bit (like now) but otherwise today is pretty freaking boring.

I would be working on my jewelry stuff, but since the mail cant run in the ice, i dont have any of it. it was all from japan and other 'across-the-sea' countries, so it'll take a while to get here. even longer since the mail people cant drive.

Mom said that she never even saw Hillsboro on the map for the snow. I hope she's wrong, because i really want to get some snow. i really, really want it. Like, bad. i think it would make for some good pictures, but also because i want to make a snow woman and a snow cat. an old teacher gave me the idea for the snow cat.

Dad is working up in the city somewhere plowing. i dont know how you plow ice, but mom said that the city probably has more snow than we do. It took him an hour and a half to get up there. i bet that it sucked, seeing as he had to drive on the ice. I hope that he's able to come home tonight, but i doubt it now since they're saying the worst of the snow will be here tonight. it'll suck if he has to work all night. :(

right now, the trees are all covered in ice. i took a few pictures earlier, but had to stop when the sleet kept getting in my eyes and on my camera. No sleet on the camera, please.
